I want to do a full post on what I like in language learning resources and textbooks but for now I’ll just say that for learning Japanese, you can do a lot worse than reading everything that NHK World puts out.
They have an audio series/podcast that is amazing and I just found this textbook that has 48 lessons with really useful phrases. They use romaji throughout so you don’t need to worry about reading the script just yet.
